Louis Vuitton Unveils New Diamond Cut: The Monogram Star

Louis Vuitton is set to introduce an exclusive jewelry collection featuring a distinctive Monogram Star diamond cut, replicating the iconic pattern synonymous with the fashion brand, prominently featured in handbags, suitcases, leather goods, and accessories, IDEX Online reports.

The diamonds, cut to form a 53-facet four-pointed star, will adorn rings, earrings, and pendant necklaces, and will debut soon in Singapore as part of the brand’s LV Diamonds collection. The cut is a homage to the historic LV Monogram pattern, crafted by Georges Vuitton in 1896 for application on steamer trunks.

LVMH, the world’s leading luxury conglomerate, recently announced a 5% revenue growth, totaling €7.9 billion (around $8.3 billion), in its Watches & Jewellery business division for the first three quarters of 2023 (January-September 2023).  The Watches & Jewellery segment, home to brands like Tiffany, Bulgari, Chaumet, and Fred, experienced significant activity during this period.
